Remarkable survival strategies: from ants to Noah
In the face of adversity, nature often reveals the most astonishing survival tactics. Take, for instance, the ant.
When confronted with floods, these tiny creatures exhibit an extraordinary survival strategy by tightly linking together to form a raft. With teamwork and adaptability, they use their bodies to create a water-repellent, buoyant structure. This not only protects them from drowning, it also shields them from potential predators lurking in the water.
After the water recedes, the ants disband and resume their terrestrial lives, a testament to their exceptional social organization and collective problem-solving abilities.
Parallel to this natural phenomenon is the biblical story of Noah. Scripture tells us that Noah, having never witnessed rain or floods, heeded God’s instructions to build an ark—a task that some historians believe spanned 55-75 years.
With divine guidance detailing everything from the ark’s measurements to the specific wood to use, Noah embarked on this monumental endeavor. When it was finished, as animals boarded two by two, the skies opened and the rain fell, fulfilling God’s promise.
Noah’s unwavering faith and obedience, without immediate evidence of the impending deluge, exemplifies a profound commitment to following God’s command.
A call to unity: forging the future together
Today, as Christian leaders, we stand at a crucial juncture. We have seen our culture move at lightning speed against families, Christian businesses and people of faith. The urgency to unite, to pool our resources and stand firm in our beliefs, has never been greater.
The U.S. Christian Business Expo and Conference, a divine revelation received in Q4 2022, was born out of a vision for “Spiritual World Citizens doing business from the inside out.” This vision, pre-dating the rise of open AI and deep fakes, underscores the critical need for a conference offering a blueprint to Christian business leaders for unprecedented times.
Since our inception as a standalone organization in June 2023, we’ve been diligently working to build this conference and the infrastructure of the USCCC. With God’s grace, we’ve assembled a hands-on board of directors with significant influence across various industries. We’ve been blessed with volunteers who bring expertise, business acumen and vital resources to help set the stage for a transformative event in April 2024.
More than a conference: a movement for such a time as this
Our upcoming expo is more than just a gathering; it’s a movement created in partnership with the International Christian Chamber of Commerce, which was founded over 35 years ago by Gunnar Olsen. This global event is a call to action for Christian business owners to harness the power of relationship capital, the truest form of currency in today’s world. While digital connections have their place, the irreplaceable value of in-person interactions cannot be overstated.
