Bob Willbanks
Bob Willbanks, CEO of G7 Networking, devotes most of his time to developing the vision of collaborative Kingdom purpose and unity among Christian business professionals. It is his hope and prayer that all G7 Networking participants find encouragement and accountability, enabling them to reach the next rung on their spiritual growth ladder. Through mentoring others and being accountable themselves, Christians in the marketplace can shine God’s light into the darkness, living out their lives for Kingdom purpose, rooted and grounded in the absolute truth found only in His Word. Bob’s passion is to connect and encourage Christians in business through trust and integrity. G7 plants chapters area by area to create spaces in which Christian professionals can grow together.
A native of Minnesota, Bob began his career with payroll processing before working in sales and marketing. With an inherent knack for creating win-win-win collaborative relationships along with an entrepreneurial spirit, Bob has been blessed by working in HR, real estate, IT/technical management and consulting. He’s owned multiple successful business ventures and has experience with Fortune 500 companies at senior management levels. He and his wife, Barb, also own Next Door Photos in the Twin Cities area.
Most of his adult life, Bob was what he calls, “miserably saved.” Even though he considered himself a Christian, he’d never jumped into his faith. That has all changed, and today his focus is on God and his family. Bob wants to use his God-given gifts, talents, and life experiences to pour into others so they can see what is possible—in and through—God. G7 provides a conduit for doing that. His work in G7 enables him to encourage others to jump into the river of their faith too—instead of just dipping their toe in the flowing water.
Bob enjoys his quiet time with God and treasures his time with his family and like-minded believers, appreciating the refreshing those experiences brings all around. He also loves working out, sleepovers with his grandkids, and travelling.
