Haitian born actor, author, speaker and director Camy "Cameron" Arnett carved out a successful career in arts and entertainment in the late '80s and '90s, and continues to gain momentum and influence in the industry even now.
Mr. Arnett will be starring in the upcoming Kendrick brothers film, The Forge, set to release in August 2024. Other recent projects include Unfailing Love, for which he won the 2023 Best Actor Award at the Christian Family Film Festival, The Perfect Christmas, The Great Turkey Town Miracle and Nefarious. He can also be seen in Eleanor's Bench, Running The Bases (Movieguide's 2023 Faith and Freedom Award winner), Saved by Grace, Vindication, Angels Unaware, and Making Him Famous.
In Eleanor's Bench, Cameron Arnett comes alongside Karen Abercrombie. The series released as the #1 series on Pure Flix in the summer of 2023. An Angelic Christmas released on Pure Flix at the close of 2022, starring Cameron Arnett and Karen Abercrombie as well and streamed as the #1 film on the platform. Arnett starred in Saved By Grace alongside Jennifer Taylor which released as #1 on the platform in winter 2022.
Cameron's early television credits include NBC’s Miami Vice, Fox’s Star Trek: The Next Generation, ABC’s China Beach and Doogie Howser MD, VH1's Single Ladies and Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns.
Cameron was awarded 2022 Best Actor by the Content 22 Film Festival and Media Summit for his role as Agent Colbert in Don't Say My Name. In 2020 he won Best Supporting Actor for his role in Discarded Things by CIFF, the Canadian International Faith and Family Film Festival.
He was named 2020's Actor of the Year by the International Christian Film and Music Festival, and nominated again for the same award in 2021.
Other appearances include Joe Anderson in Vindication, Jarod O’Flaherty’s episodic faith-based crime-drama series, The Wager, Order of Rights and Tulsa, which was seen in Regal Theaters around the country and was the second highest grossing self-distributed film. Additional projects include Angels Unaware, Preach, Eleanor's Bench and I Can... and the list goes on.
He has appeared in publications including Fox News, Movieguide and on the cover of January 2020’s Believer’s Voice of Victory.
Other film successes include I Still Believe (Seventeen Magazines #1 Romantic Movie of the Year 2020), Overcomer (the Kendrick Brothers’ #1 Family Film for 2019), and BET's Redeemed in 2021.
He and his wife, Mrs. BJ Arnett, are executive producers of the feature film Mattie: The Discovery, in which he starred, and which was also his directorial debut. He appears in Karen Abercrombie’s Discarded Things, in The Challenger Disaster, Champion and the five Dove Award-winning, Stand Your Ground.
Today, Cameron is the CEO of Camy Arnett Production Studios (CAPS), a television, film and entertainment company. He is the producer and director of the CAPS originals, Jesus Is My Booski, BJA Today, and Pivotal Times.
Together, Cameron and BJ are producers of the films Destined to Love You, Hosea: An Undying Love, and a host of other films found on CamyArnett.com.
Cameron is the founder of Christ Over Career, a movement of believers calling the Church back to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, putting Him and keeping Him at the helm of every decision. He and Mrs. BJ Arnett are also the founders of Saving Destinies, a nonprofit that is raising and uniting people, providing opportunities and resources to the born, disabled, aged or defenseless.
