David Roznowski (Pastor Roz)
After retiring from the Ohio Army National Guard with 24yrs of service, Sergeant First Class Roznowski traded in his “Sgt Roz” for “Pastor Roz”. Heather, his wife of now 32years, and he founded the Neighborhood Relief Thrift Store in March 2000, with $500 and the stuff in their basement. After a year in business, at age 37, God called “Roz” (& Heather) to salvation through Jesus Christ.
The business quickly changed to a ministry that gives free material help and the hope of the gospel to thousands of people each year. In 2017 they created the Neighborhood Relief Ministries, a street ministry that goes into parking lots & parks with a food trailer, free clothes & food, a mobile baptism trailer, and worship, prayer, and sharing of the gospel.
During COVID the NRM served over 5,000 meals. Pastor Roz’s most recent assignment is the founding of the West Ohio Christian Chamber of Commerce in 2023. The WOCC is a growing group of business owners and organizations from seven counties, uniting together to learn, grow and impact & change our communities & culture.
Pastor Roz was born and lives in Lima, Ohio, and is the father of two daughters. Husband, Father, Pastor, Chaplain, Teaching Evangelist, Business/Ministry Entrepreneur and Executive, Roz likes to simply refer to himself as a servant, soldier, and slave of Jesus Christ.
