Light the Way was birthed from a summer night promoting a Christian concert in 2017; I wasn’t too sure it was a good idea. I had spent my life promoting country music in bars and nightclubs.
A struggling small-town guy with big dreams now promoting a Christian concert? That night, I witnessed 23 kids freed from addictions, struggles with suicide, and a variety of sinful natures, and then offered a forever hope. I saw miracles that caught my attention quickly.
I listened to the artist on stage share how he got freedom after surrendering to Jesus; I knew this was something I wanted in my life. That night, I surrendered to God, and He freed me from my own addictions, struggles, and hatred of the “Church” to find a new hope -- and so birthed the ministry of Light the Way.
I knew my willingness and my God-given gift were now to be surrendered to Him so others could have that same experience that forever changed my life.
Now, to be recognized as Missouri’s Largest Christian Music Festival is one of the greatest miracles of my life! With passion, we reach the unreachable by taking Church outside the walls across the country! Now, in this new season, we are transitioning into another major direction, with a focus on seeing REVIVAL across this country!
