Inside the Christian investors conference and how the USCCC is equipping you to lead with excellence
Last week, I had the honor of representing the U.S. Christian Chamber of Commerce at the Christian Institutional Investors Conference in Denver, hosted by USCCC member Innovest Portfolio Solutions.
Innovest is a faith-driven investment consulting firm serving over 300 clients with more than $50 billion in assets across 37 states. The Innovest team is committed to helping institutions steward resources with wisdom, and they brought together some of the greatest minds in the Christian investing space.
Sharing the room with those amazing leaders, I was reminded of a powerful truth:
You don’t have to sacrifice performance to invest according to your faith.
From Sovereign’s Capital to IWP, from corporate chaplains to university CEOs—the message was clear:
Kingdom principles and market success are not at odds.
As John Coleman of Sovereign’s Capital put it:
“There is no tradeoff in Kingdom advancement and return.”

A Historic First: A United Front
Our closing panel was powerful: Christian Employers Alliance (CEA), Catholic Benefits Association (CBA), and USCCC—three national organizations on stage together for the first time, united in our mission to serve Christian-led companies.
One message echoed loud and clear throughout the event:
Kingdom success isn’t just about business strategy—it’s about culture.
Culture isn’t a soft skill—it’s a market differentiator and a Kingdom multiplier. Faith-driven CEOs who prioritize culture consistently outperform their peers who don’t.
Culture Outperforms Systems
Speaker after speaker confirmed that strong culture attracts top talent, retains it, and empowers people to thrive. That’s where true success begins.
Reginald Smith of Eventide challenged us with a sobering question:
“If God invested, where would He invest?”
Would it be in your company? Would it be in you as a leader? Would it be in the culture you’ve built?
Jerry Bowyer, founder of Bowyer Research, added another gem:
“When you own, you can engage.”
As Christian business owners and leaders, we need to invest in Christian-led companies, we need to shop with Kingdom businesses, and we need to model what it means to be a Christ-follower. When we own our faith, we have the power to engage and share the Gospel in the marketplace.
We are in a season of massive Kingdom wealth transfer. There is a growing awareness in the Christian business community that God is strategically moving financial resources from those who have stewarded secular wealth to a new generation of faith-driven leaders and organizations that are positioned to advance His purposes in the marketplace. He is redistributing influence and capital to those aligned with Kingdom values—people who will use it for impact, not just profit.
It is important for us to not only understand this but to take an active role in making it happen. Instead of relying on the same limited pool of donors and supporters to carry the financial load, we must grow the next generation of wealth creators. What would the marketplace look like if we raise up more Christian business leaders to build wealth through Kingdom-minded companies who see their success as a means to fund, fuel, and fulfill God’s work in the world?
