Call Him by His Name
Let’s start at the beginning. God is your true source, not the universe or any other created things such as crystals, energy, the moon, etc.
As a Kingdom business builder, you are probably thinking, Of course I know this, I’m a member of the US Christian Chamber.
While writing my book, The Source of the Secret: The Science of Getting Rich for Kingdom Entrepreneurs, God showed me that a number of Christian business owners are beginning to give acknowledgement to the universe instead of Him.
In fact, one well-known Christian businesswoman said during our interview, “I just use the word universe when I am with them (unbelievers) but we know I am talking about God.”
I thought, yes, the name of Jesus is unacceptable in the world but we are not a part of their culture. We live in Kingdom culture, and we acknowledge our King.
Convincing you that anything but God is your source is Satan’s objective. He is very subtle in how he deceives people to make them question the character of God and join his dark kingdom.
Since we believe the Bible, we accept Hebrews 11:3: “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.”
Likewise, Hebrews 1:2 confirms: “But in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.”
The universe is an expansive tapestry of galaxies, each containing billions of stars and planets. It encompasses all matter, energy, space, and time. It includes everything that exists, from the smallest sub-atomic particles to the largest galaxies and everything in between. I think of it as God’s canvas containing His creations.
The universe is a created thing and is not God.
Yes, God said in His Word that Jesus fills the universe. But it does not say He is the universe. Ephesians 4:10 records: “He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.”
Some people say, “What’s the big deal? I call Him universe; you call Him God. It’s all the same.”
No, it’s not.
I wrote six books, but you don’t call me a book. Likewise, we don’t call the universe God, and we don’t attribute blessings to the universe. It does not manifest or bring things to us. It is not to be thanked or praised even in the mist of unbelievers.
Deuteronomy 4:19 makes this very clear: “And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars—all the heavenly array—do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the LORD your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven.”
Enough said.
Simply call Him by His name.
