On Christmas Eve, in a ritual repeated in churches around the world, I joined in a vivid illustration of how one light can change everything. During the service, the entire room was lit by a single candle. One flame passed from person to person. We lifted our candles high until the darkness was completely overcome by light.
That’s the power of one light.
As believers, we carry the light of Christ within us, and no one—not even the enemy—can extinguish it.
Jesus said: “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”—John 8:12
Shining Bright in the Marketplace
Business is one of the greatest places to shine the light of Christ. Through our actions, our work, and our words, we can illuminate the world around us, sparking transformation in:

- Our communities
The marketplace is overflowing with opportunities to show others the love of Jesus, and sometimes, we may be the only encounter someone has with God.
